RecRoom:

Ever wonder what conversations we DIDN'T hear?

We'll be posting different challenges as time goes on to help get your imagination working overtime. If you have a challenge you'd like to suggest, we're listening.

Here are some missing scenes we're curious about.... Dream Dates or Dates From Hell? You tell us.

Challenge #1

Johnny shows up for work with a sore shoulder after his date with a lady deputy in "Fuzz Lady." Roy tells Dixie that Johnny had a little disagreement with her (so, he must have told Roy about it?) Johnny explains, "Now, the trouble with her is, she can't separate pleasure from duty."

What did Johnny do, anyway?

Challenge #2

Chet takes Cindy out for a day at the beach in Mike's dune buggy. You know, the girl in "Dilemma" Johnny tried to ditch and pawn off on everyone else, much to his chagrin later on. She even baked him cookies, but he thought it was weird that a girl would pursue a guy. Chet didn't seem to have a problem with that.

Did he?

Challenge #3

In "Women" journalist Christy Todd and FF/PM John Gage seem to go together like oil and water. Johnny-baby and the baby baracuda. Johnny seems rather smug when he tells Roy he went out on a date with her.

What does happen when you mix oil and water?

Challenge #4

Marco gladly accepts an invitation to dinner from the lovely Daisy in "Daisy's Pick." The other guys warn him that she probably just wants him to do some work, but he just shrugs and walks away saying, "Either way, I'll never tell." Bet he had a big smile on his face. Roy sure was amused.

Inquiring minds want to know about this date!

Challenge #5

Roy's dreadful mother-in-law cancels her vacation visit with them at the last minute. He'd already arranged for a replacement, so he's going to go home, and he and Joanne are going to celebrate by spending a night on the town in "Family Ties."

So, just what do old married couples do when they paint the town?

Challenge #6

After only three days with her, Johnny tells Roy he's thinking of asking Valerie to marry him in "Details." We know they didn't spend those three days at her place, because he didn't know about the kids. Johnny may be impulsive, but three days and he's ready to get married?

They had a lot in common. Uh-huh. Sure.

Challenge #7

Beautiful divorcee Mrs. Johnson comes to the station with a gift for Roy in "How Green Was My Thumb." She soon has four offers to take care of her plants when she goes out of town. Mike says, "My uncle manufactures fertilizer." (To which Johnny mumbles, "Yeah, and so do you.")

Plants and fertilizer. Put them together, and what do you get?

Challenge #8

"You bet I'll come back and see you, Big Red." Chet wasn't talkin' to the Ward LaFrance when he said that. Valerie wasn't the only one batting her eyes at a fireman in "Details." The cute little guy with the mustache made this one go weak in the knees.

Suppose Big Red gave Chet some lessons in... belly dancing?
